Installing the sims 2 expansion packs in order?

ive heard stuff from friends that i have to install the sims 2 expansion packs in order. if i install an expansion pack released later such as freetime and i install university after i have installed freetime, what will happen? will the game run properly?

Yes it will, but if you're really worried, you can ask what the order is for the expansion packs.

No, you dont need to install them in order. If you have already installed Freetime, when you finish installing university and you want to start playing, put the Freetime disk back in and it should play fine. It is only in The Sims1 that you needed to install them in order

Your game will be fine. I bought University before I bought Nightlife. And they both turned out just fine. So it really doesn't matter. It'll all work out like it should. :]
