Installing windows vista HELP?

Question

I recently had windows vista but something was wrong and i out in my old recovery disc that came with my gateway laptop. when i installed it something was wrong and i had to take it to geek squad so they could clear my hard drive. I installed windows xp home but i feel like putting vista on my laptop again

and I was wondering if i could do that again

I was also wondering if these are good requirements for vista ultimate

it has amd 64 mobile technology

with 1500gb of ddr ram

and ati radon xpress 200m graphics card

you can run anything with 1500gb of ram.

yeap thats enough I ran Vista on that much of ram

it should be perfectly fine 1500 ram is plenty

as long as you have the vista disc you should be able to reinstall
