Installing windows xp on my laptop?!??!?

Question

this laptop was bought used without os.

i paid 20 bucks for it. it doesnt have a floppy drive and no cd drive.!!!

its a ibm thinkpad 570e i tried to hook up external cd drive but it wont read it!!!!! so..... is there like another way to put a operating system on this thing. help im so angry and frustraited
