i dont like the soup i will follow the rest of the stuff the diet says but just eat cabbage and drink a lot of water?

How about someone just answer the question? Yes, you can eat cabbage if you don't like the soup, but try to eat lots of raw or cooked veggies (brussle sprouts are like little cabbages). I eat plain chicken broth and cabbage separately to help flush out the system instead of soup. This diet is a great way to kick start weight loss, but it is true a significant portion of the weight loss is water weight. I don't see anything wrong with losing a few pounds in a short amount of time to motivate you to start a healthy and more balanced diet and exercise regimen.
Also, this is one of the cheapest diets you can use, so your food costs would most likely be less for this week.
