Keep in mind Camels Unlimited would still have to work at saving the desert wells and oasises (sp?).

Mainly because the "dry spot" is already growing.  Dessertification is a problem we are spending resources to stop and the inhospility of the dessert currently protects it from most of the human impacts that occur in areas with lots of fresh water.

the reason would be that there is too many "dry spots".  have you ever tried to pasture a horse on a pasture of sand?  swamps aren't exactly great either in my opinion, all they are is a place for mosquitoes to breed.   why don't you try to save the rain forests or something instead?  lol.
