Wouldn't Tequila with Lime made for a better reception at the wedding in the parable?

Nah, people would get drunk. Jesus in the parable made unfermented wine. In the Greek the words are two different ones, but in English there isn't a word equivalent

Yes it would or vodka etc seeing how the event in question never actually occurred.

I don't think limes grow well in that part of the world. Not positive but I think they grow best in a more tropical like climate. So, what good would tequila be without the lime?

No.  Tequila makes me sick, and I'm more likely to buy someone's bad line.
