related to race and ethnicity is the concept of institutionalized discrimination. Have you ever witnessed it? What experiences have you seen or heard about to describe how this works?

  1. As far as I know, that is a thing of the past.  Only individuals practice such abhorrent behavior.  

    Unless you are referring to government giving preferential treatment to minorities.  That, my friend, is widespread.  Quotas in employment and in schools are the norm as they no longer go to the best qualified.


  2. I like the first answer best so far as I agree with him.  However, I do not think it is so in prisons.  Mainly poor people steal and break the law. When the rich do it, they hire better lawyers.  LOL

I have not witnessed it first hand, but a lot of people say race is a factor, the biggest factor.  Take a look at prisons... black men fill them more than anything.  I'm not saying there is discrimination involved for sure... but there could be, if you wanted to look into it more you could find out the race or ethnicity of the judge, jurry and lawyers involved... and witnesses.  There are currupt people everywhere, it's sad.  God Bless.
