Insulation material?

Question

People used to stick polystyrene foam on ceilings, it could / can be bought in rolls and was a decent insulator. I realise this stuff aint fire resistant, is there a modern equivalent product in rolls that can be used as an insulator? I mean thin stuff not rolls of glass fibre.

yes there is, you can use radiator backing and insulation foil and once its on you can cover it with paper or paint
