Insurance E-bike?

Question

I live in california and I would like to know if I need an insurance for my e-bike if I hit someone or something.

If you could post the web page you found it on that would be nice.

Your homeowner's/personal property policy normally covers your personal liability if you hit someone (unintentionally) and damage to your bike if it gets messed up in an accident.

In fact, many auto policies cover you too. And they may cover your medical costs and even lost wages if you get injured. Check your policy.
