At the age of 17 I was diagnosed with an illness and I had no insurance at the time. Now I have a job that offers insurance and I have had it for 3 years. Now the insurance company is asking for medical records, I believe they are going to tey and wuse the Pre-Existing Condition line on me, is there a way around this?

  1. Usually, that pre-existing condition clause on a group policy can only exclude treatment for the condition for 18 months or so - if you've had coverage for 3 years, you're way beyond that period.

    So don't worry about it.

  2. no, tell them up front

  3. Depends on what type od illness you have.

  4. for any insurance you have to submit fitness certificate or medical status that is provided by qulified doctor

  5. No sadly most insurance won't cover pre-existing conditions.  Your only luck may be with a company that does group insurance thus doesn't ask.
