  1. your home insurance will take care of this and decide weather he is due payment or not.

  2. It's not automatic liability, just because he got hurt at your house.  He has to sue you, and he has to show that you were negligent.

If he climbed a tree, and jumped down, that's not YOUR fault!  If he tried to pick up your car, that's ALSO not your fault.

Your insurance company will handle the defense of your claim.

  3. The residency status of the injured isn't relevant. Whether you are liable or not for their injuries is the big question, and unfortunately since you did not give any details about then accident then no one here could tell you if you are liable or not.

  4. It would depend on what coverage you selected when you purchased the policy.  I would suggest you make a claim as soon as possible.

  5. ~~The best advice is to call your agent and ask them what to do. Without knowing all the details and exactly how your personal homeowners policy is written- it isn't possible to give you a correct answer. Your agent will give you the info you need after hearing the whole story. I now our own policy coveres injuries, but I still would call my agent for the best advice on how to handle. If you need an answer tonight, many companies have a 24 hour emergency line (State Farm does), then you can find out immediately.  Best of luck!~~

  6. You don't pay unless you were negligent in some way.  I get a few suckers every year hurt themselves on the property of the drugstore I manage.  They always want to get something for nothing.  But I tell them the same thing- if we weren't negligent and you (or another shopper) caused your accident, why would we be responsible?
