I got pulled over for being on my cell phone but the cop gave me a ticket for not wearing my seat belt which is only $46, i can pay online, and i dont have to go to court. Will this ticket be reported to my insurance?

  1. Yes. Minor moving violation. You can do traffic school on line if you don't want to be there in person-A frend of mine did that.

    In NC - it is NOT an Insurance Point, only a Licensing Point

    On a side note: If you pay and choose to go to traffic school, this violation will NOT get reported to your insurance company. I recommend going to traffic school.

    In person in a classroom setting, it is usually 2 days for about 2 - 3 hours each day and you receive a certificate to clear your violaton.

    This could also be done online, and it only takes 3 hours (180 minutes) - 6 hours (360 minutes). You may log in and out as many times as necessary to complete your traffic school after that.
