  1. The best home trampoline is the Backyard Pro brand. It is the only trampoline used by World Champion trampoline competitors, springboard divers, free style skiers, and other world class athletes to train at home as well as being a trampoline that the whole family can have fun on. The good thing about the Backyard Pro web site is that they have an excellent demo movie playing that shows their trampoline actually being used so you can judge its performance for yourself. The Backyard Pro website is:

For extra safety, The Backyard Pro is the only home trampoline that can quickly convert to up on legs mode or flush level with the ground mode with nothing extra to buy. The web links to Backyard Pro ground level installation are:

You can also download a FREE 50+ page book filled with useful information about trampolines and trampolining. The web link for the FREE trampoline E-Book is:

    http://www.backyardpro.com/freebook.pdf

The Backyard Pro website also offers a critically acclaimed 90 minute trampoline instructional and safety DVD. This DVD is the best and wisest investment any trampoline user can make. Watch it BEFORE you choose a trampoline. The web link for the trampoline instructional DVD is:

Other trampoline websites boast that their trampolines are superior but only Backyard Pro offers a movie of their trampoline being used so that you can see for yourself.

Insurance can be a problem but Homeowners policies are what most home trampoline owners need. If the policy does not specifically exclude trampolines, you should be covered. No need to tell your insurance company that you have bought one because they may want to raise your rates. Backyard Pro does offer a security weather cover that both protects the trampoline and prevents unauthorized use. Sometimes it helps if your insurance company knows that you restrict access to your trampoline. Backyard Pro also offers a critically acclaimed 90 minute trampoline safety and instructional DVD taught by a great World Trampoline Champion that shows you how to use your trampoline safely and correctly. Most injuries occur because the trampoline user had no training and misused the equipment. KNOWLEDGE is your best investment when it comes to trampolining. People who would not dream of attempting to scuba dive without training somehow imagine that trampolining requires no training at all. The web link for the Backyard Pro trampoline instructional and safety DVD is:

Properly trained trampoline users very seldom get hurt. It is the bouncers without any training or knowledge that usually have the mishaps. Common sense reasonable prudence also helps. Take some lessons at your local gymnastics school and view the DVD and you will probably never have a serious mishap.

  2. I do not under any circumstances what so ever recommend purchasing a trampoline!

With trampolines - it's not "if" someone gets hurt. It's "when".

A trampoline is just an accident waiting to happen. It does not matter if you always have adult supervision.

It does not matter if you have a net.

It does not matter if you only let one person at a time bounce on it.

Nothing will prevent someone from taking a bad bounce and breaking a leg/ankle/tooth/arm.

If a member of your household gets hurt on it -- your homeowners coverage will not apply.

Is a non-member gets hurt on it - if your homeowners insurance does not  cover you -- you can be sued.  You could lose everything you ever worked for because of a law suit.

I have gotten a lot of trampoline claims over the years.  I have had more trampoline injury claims that I have had 4 wheeler injury claims!  The most minor one was a couple of broken teeth. Others include broken limbs.

I'll put it this way - and take it for what it's worth to you which may be nothing - I'm an insurance adjuster -- having seen trampoline claims over the years - I will never have on at my house.

Is it really worth risking your financial future for a toy?

**not legal advice -- just my opinion.

  3. Check here:

    You can find it.

    Good luck!

  4. Well, it's homeowners insurance that covers it, but I don't know any companies in MA, who will write homeowners on a house with a trampoline.  If they find it, they're going to cancel you.

Trampolines are just as bad as pitt bulls - as far as liability claims go.  They are inherently hazardous.  No netting that you put around it, is going to stop it from being dangerous.  So likely, you're going to either pay out the yingyang for coverage - like THOUSANDS a year, or have no house insurance.
