  1. you can usually get it reinstated depending how long its been canceled.  they will likely charge you a reinstatement fee and have you sign a no loss form stating you haven't had any losses since the date it canceled.

  2. You have none.

  3. Perhaps You ought to google it first ,nevertheless if you prefer some direct resource ,here might be your choosing.

  5. Where there is a will there is  a way. They may extend the grace period now since its only a few hours if not See if they will reinstate you without or with  a small penalty. If not they may reinstate you giving you a one day or whatever insurance lapse. depends on the state. I would suggest u call them immediately like tonight now if they are open 24 hours and try to get the matter resolved by payment. the sooner you do it the better and be honest let them know about the lapse in judgement . Good luck.

  6. Beg for forgiveness....or switch to mercury iins...i had the same sitch an they fogave me...XOXOXO.

  7. You can't overturn the cancellation.

You have to start a new policy.   You'll have to call them Monday, or call progressive tonight (they're open 24/7).

  8. Call your agent - they might be able to get it reinstated with payment of the $45.

  9. Next time....open all communications that are sent to you by the insurance company.

"I didn't read it" or "I didn't get it" are not defenses.

The insurance company is only required to send one notice to the address on the policy. They did that. They do not have to hunt you down and beat you about the head with the fact that your policy is about to cancel for non-payment of premium.

As it is - you are uninsured.

I suggest you call your agent and speak with him/her.  They will be able to assist you. You may be able to get this policy re-instated or you may have to take out another policy.

However, any accidents or claims you have between now and then -- are not covered.
