Insurance claim workers comp cheks ????

i got injured 2 months ago . next month the insurance will let me know if there gonna accept the claim ,i been getting checks since 2 weeks ago from state disability so ,is the insurance going to owe me money for the whole time that they been investigating ? or is gonna go to the state . by law the insurance has till next month to make a decision ,

  1. You can't double dip!!  They would reimburse the state.


  2. State comp will pay the state back of what they give you.

    If they accept it you will get payed from your first day on disability. Comp pays you 2/3 of your wages tax free.

    The state will get there money back.

  3. You will get a check from the work comp after they are done investigating the claim.  They will either give you the difference or you will have to pay the state the difference.  I would check with your adjuster regarding this when or if you receive you check this way you'll be squared with the state.  Usually it's the state that sends the lien to the insurance company and you normally get the difference.
