  1. Try this one - http://carinsurance.deep-ice.com - I personally have their car insurance, cause it is the cheapest for my family in our area.

Their policy for bad driving record is not such expensive as from other companies.

  2. well the sad fact of the matter is you will be paying more for insurance and more than likley when they find out you have a dui will cancel you and you will need to be placed with a high risk carrier which on average cost alot more than a standard company a dui stays on your record for 5 years with most companys and after 3 a standard company will write you again.

  3. You should shop around for a new company and you HAVE to tell them about the DUI.  Do you need an SR22?  If an insurance company finds out that you have a DUI and you didn't tell them, they will cancel your policy immediatly.

Your insurance will increase for about 5 years.  In most states your insurance premium will go back down after that amount of time.

It's hard to give you an average amount it goes up because it's different for everyone.  Just make sure you shop around and provide acurate information about yourself.  The more quotes you compare, the cheaper rate you will find.

  4. here are my answers to all of your questions in the order that you asked them!

-you will most likely be dropped from your insurance company IF they find out that you got a DUI. however....something that a lot of people dont know is that running driving records for people is very expensive for insurance companies...so unless you go to them and say "hey i got a DUI" they will probably never find out. they never run Motor Vehicle Reports on anyone unless they have a reason to. Now let's say they DO find out for one reason or another....

...yes you're insurance will go up IF they decide to keep you. if they dont, Progressive is the best company to go with. they are very forgiving of DUI offenders.

.. now to get with an insurance company that has lower rates, but are pickier about who they insure, you are probably looking at at least 7 years before they dont count it against you anymore.
