The FMLA doesn't apply to me. I work at a company with 12 employees. During maternity leave will my boss still continue paying for my health insurance?

  1. FMLA only requires an employer to give you 12 weeks of unpaid leave anyways.

They are not required to but most employers will continue to pay the same portion of your health premiums that they paid before the leave.

Aflac plans that provide maternity leave require you to have the plan prior to getting pregnant.

  2. Get on AFLAC they pay maternity leave. You can ask your employer for it or even obtain it on your own.

  3. He is not obligated to, and probably won't.
