Insurance for hurt worker?

my step father fell and fractured a verterbrae in his back while at work. he sued his company but is in another state and working. i know this is insurance fraud and i want to know what would happen if he gets caught. He has not gotten any money from the company yet because the case is pending but he is in perfect condition and is working at another job but his old job ( the one he sued) still believes he is hurt.

that's the state disability insuracne. Government will investigate and determine to pay. they are very experienced.

Insurance fraud is a felony plain and simple.  In a case like this where he is suing a company, they will more than likely get a private investigator to get info on the fact that he is not injured.  Once this is done, he will prosecuted for fraud and be sent to jail.  I'm sorry to say, your not going to see your step father for a while.  Advise him to drop the lawsuit before he gets himself into trouble.  It's still not too late for him to be a real man and do the right thing.
