they will give me 3800 for a 20yr roof, but i found a company that will do a 30yr roof for the same price. I have to give the insurance a signed contract before they will pay out all of the money. So the question is will the insurance pay the full price for the 30yr or try to take off money because its not for the quoted 20yr?

  1. If the insurance company has determined that you roof repair is covered for $3800 that is what you will get.  If you can find a company that will give a better roof for that price the insurance company won't care, they want the signed contract to insure that you don't just pocket the insurance money and don't fix your roof.

  2. No, they shouldn't care.

  3. 3800 for a roof? Do you live in a trailer or something? How can someone do a roof for $3800? Or is it just shingles only?
