Insurance issue?

Okay well I am going to be a freshman in high school. I am going to be in marching band, and band camp for it starts Monday. You have to have insurance, and a copy of your insurance card. Well, I get the school insurance every year, and I don't have an insurance card for it. First of all, it's still summer so I can't purchase my 9th grade insurance yet. I still have it from 8th grade. I now know I can order an insurance card next time. Anyway, my insurance should still be good until I get the packed for it in school right? Do you think they will still let me participate in band camp and band without it? At least until I get insurance again? Also, I emailed my MS band director about it and she said I need to have the card, but if I don't have one, not to worry, and that I will figure it out Monday. I am SO worrying here! Help!/

  1. Take your old card. That should be sufficient.

  2. if your band director had said not to worry than there is no need to worry ,she will handle every thing

  3. If something changes and you need insurance to participate.  You can go to a site like http://www.lvhealthins.com and purchase a 1 month temporary health plan.
