  1. Just about any independent agency will hire you, entry level (not much money) and train you in how the business works.


  2. Lulu's friend is correct.

    Their big competitor is WFG, where many of my competitors also work.  

    Check out both of our companies.

    And, of course, check the local want-ads.  Often you can find companies that will hire an eager person.  Especially one with gumption.  I would.  So let us all compete for you.

  3. Primerica would be a good start.  Granted we have a high turn over rate (a good 80-90% fail in the fist 6 months), but the knowledge if valuable.

    That being said, Primerica is not a job, it is a business opportunity.  You create your own market.  It is not for everyone (as evidenced by the high turn over rate).  There is no base pay, it is all commission.  The Life license is subsidized mostly by the company, as is the securities license.

    Ask questions before deciding though and get all the answers you can so you can make an informed decision.
