I just found the insurance for my broken camera. What happens if I go about using this? Will I get money back or will they fix it for me? Do I get a new camera?

  1. Likely, you mail the old camera in to them, they take a look at the damage and decide if it's covered or not, and if it is, they send you a refurb.  If not, they tell you how much it's going to cost for them to fix the camer, and they'll either fix & bill you, or mail it back to you.

  2. If you found your insurance policy the answer is right there.

First read the "insuring agreement" it will state what your insurance company agrees to do in the event of a covered loss. Then find the section that specifies the exclusions to be sure that the damage is in fact a covered loss.

  3. How would we know.  Read the policy that you found and see what it says.  We don't have any idea what kind of policy you are referring to.
