Insurance on stolen bike?

I live in the UK and just had my cycling bike stolen when I left it for 1 minute. I have home insurance, is there any possibility to claim insurance on it? thanks for the help

Unless it is a very expensive bike it may not be wise to claim it on your homeowners policy. You may risk a rate increase in the future and your deductible may be hire than the bike was worth.

My homeowner's insurance covered it, but not all do.  Might as well ask.

Of course, if the bike isn't that expensive, it might not be worth claiming.

If it doesn't have a motor, quite possibly it would be covered.  However, is it worth more than your deductible?
