but in the meantime he's got nothing to do but wait. He walks in the mornings but he's bored the rest of the day. Does anyone have any ideas for passing the time. He's 52, can't lift his right arm, is a shy latino man, and needs something to do. He lives in Rancho Cucamonga. He's very smart but is bored out of his mind. Please make suggestions. Maybe volunteer opportunities.

Kids always need afterschool volunteers and he could help with homework-especially those kids whose english may not be that good (I'm assuming he speaks spanish)

There are many seniors programs that serve meals and provide entertainment to seniors at parks and senior centers.

I'd suggest starting at church.  His church would have NO SHORTAGE of volunteer opportunities.
