Insurance workers comp thanks for your help?

got injured 2 weeks ago i got my lawyer .the papers have been summited to insurance...insurance send me letter saying ,ALL POTENTIAL BENEFITS ARE BEING DELAYED ,BECAUSE INCONSISTENT HISTORY OF ACCIDENT ,,,MY DOCTOR ALL READY PUT ME ON DISABILITY .SO WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN NOW?????

  1. if you have a lawyer he should be handling this. remember your lawyer works for you, so stay on his butt. if you do not understand something call him up and say "hey what's up!!!! if the have a discrepancy in the report you should find out what it is. also ANY WORKMANS COMP payments will be slow in coming so don't do anything stupid and do not EVER think that no one is watching BECAUSE THEY CAN BE!!!!!


  2. Now you're going to sit back and wait.  And wait, and wait.   They'll take statements, everything gets run through the lawyer, waiting for him to contact you, waiting for you to contact him back, waiting for him to pass your response to the insurance company.  

    There will be lots of statements, and outside medical examinations.  Your doctor cannot bind the insurance company to a workers comp claim.

    If there's any chance this is not work related, you're likely not going to collect under workers comp.  AND, if you're collecting disability, it's one or the other, anyway - you don't get workers comp AND disability.
