  1. WOW, 17 and that car $$$

well goto progressive, or geico, state farm. or Allstate

they all give you direct quotes

  2. I think you will have real trouble getting cover.  That is because even if the insurer charges the value of the car, it does not help them, because as a new licence holder (I am assuming you are in the UK, so you cannot have had your licence long) you are very likely to damage some other cars or people with it if/when you crash it.  Even if you are lucky enough to miss out on a crash, do you think that you will stick to the speed limits?  At 17, with an R32?  If you get 6 points on your licence in the first 2 years of driving, you will  get an automatic ban and a fine and have to take your test again from scratch.  Your rich parents cannot protect you from that.  Why not say to your dad, great idea but how about this.  Get me something a bit easier to be sensible in and a holiday in the carribean this year and save the R32 for my 19th.

I have no hope that you will do this  ( I probably would not have at your age) but your dad is risking your life giving you a car like this with your inexperience on the road.  If things go really wrong, you might kill someone else and end up in prison.  If you really feel unable to take any advice on thsi do one thing.  Get advanced driver training.  I dont mean how to drive fast on a track, but how to be really aware of the road, anticipate others' actions and mistakes so that you are less likely to hit things.  Passing your test shows that on the day you drove with the  bare minimum of skill necesssary to be safe on the road.  You are not an expert driver, and you won't be for 5-10 years if ever.

  3. You're gonna struggle but i searched for "hot hatch insurance" and "modified car insurance" and came up with this one: http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/hot-hatches-...

I'm assuming ur in the UK as your 17 and talking about an 07 plate, and you've visited gocompare!!

could try searching "young driver insruance" or similar - but i think your gonna have to go with a specialist insurance broker, as your direct lines and churchills won't touch you with a barge pole!

    Good luck :)

  4. I would compare atleast 3-5 quotes from different insurance companies to make sure you find the best rate possible. I found the site below really helpful because it allows you to compare quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free.

    Good Luck!

  5. Give you six weeks before you prang it.

    xxFJ

  6. Geico.com, esurance.com, allstate.com, state farm.com.  There are tons of insurance companies out there.  Geico will give you a quote of their own and compare it with others.

  7. Try this but expect to pay in the thousands not the hundreds under 25 most insurance companies will never touch you Have fun with the car a great machine but please be careful that car is not the car for the feint hearted.
