Insuring football stuff?

I have lots of football stuff. Autographed jerseys, footballs and pictures. Some of them are worth lots and when i talked to my ins agent about getting renters insurance i told him what i had and he laughed and said they could not insure that stuff. any truth to that? thanks

I doubt it, depends who you are trying to get to insure it. They probably don't want to pay the price it'd be worth if they had to replace it. Cheap Skates.
