  1. You'd use u-substitution here.

    The answer of course is (8x-5)^5 / 40 + C

    u = 8x-5

    du = 8

    you need 1/8 up front to balance out the missing eight, then raise u to the fifth power from the fourth and divide by five.


  2. (8x-5)^4 yields [(8x-5)^(4+1)]/(4+1)  multiplied by integration of 8x, that is

    integration of 8x is 8*x^2 divided by 2, that is

    4x^2, therefore the answer is..

    {4x^2 (8x-5)^5}/5

  3. (1/8)(8x-5)^5 / 5 = 1/40[8x-5]^5  +  C   ANSWER
