Which processor is best if I'm planning on getting a Tablet PC and why?

What are the cons of getting a tablet with an AMD Turion processor?

As a generalisation an AMD CPU will out perform an Intel of the same spec!

If you want a smooth running computer, you'd better go with intel. I have AMD, it's okay, but it's not great.

My dad has a tablet laptop, but I hardle ever see him use the tablet part, so if you get one, make sure you'll use that feature otherwise your just wasting money on something you could have paid less for that did have the feature that makes if different from other laptops.
