It says on the windows upgrade adviser that my "Intel 82845G graphics controller" will not work in windows vista -so does that mean I wont be able to see anything or will I see it messed up -or will it only effect things like games ?

Should I install Vista anyway?

  1. It means that no accelerated or WDDM driver is available. You will have a display, but you will not be able to play hardware accelerated games or use the Aero interface.

  2. It means that there are no drivers in vista that will work with your card. So you will be able to install vista, however it will use it's default generic driver. Games will not run. And you'll be stuck at some crappy resolution.
