Intense dream, don't know what it means!?

Question

I had a dream last night that my best friend and my other friend were walking together down a street. They were coming back to my house to get ready for prom, and while we were walking we were forced into a car, my friend was sitting in the front seat, while my best friend and I were in the back seat.

My best friend and I looked at eachother and decided secretively when I said to jump out of the car we would all run. We came to a stop at a 3-way stop sign and all three of us threw open our doors(including the one in the front seat). When I got across the street I realized my friend was there but not my best friend I saw her in the car in the backseat still and the man had ahold of her wrist saying something to her, and then very calmly she closed the door and he drove away. I began crying in my dream, but I woke up and I was crying myself.

I've never had a dream quite like that, and I don't know what it means.

This is a matter from your unconscious, and it's not really all that simple.

The fact that the three of you were getting ready for prom is symbolic for a hope. The prom is representative of something that you've been anticipating, hoping for or perhaps even been dreading (in a good way).

The abduction into the car represents a fear of being trapped in an intense predicament. The predicament is not important however as you can easily escape it.

However your friend remaining in the car out of choice shows that you fear or have experienced some form of let down or betrayal from her.

What the dream means is that you either have had or will have a big event in your life coming up and you're worried that your best friend has or will do something to let you down and lessen the experience. Entirely unconciously you understand.
