Inter, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in hunt to sign Kaka this summer
Could Kaka be moving to Stamford Bridge? Don’t bet against it.
According to his agent, Kaka is 90 percent likely to move to Chelsea in the summer. The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with a move away from Spanish giants Real Madrid for quite a while now. Kaka has struggled with a long-standing knee injury in recent
times. The niggling injury has forced him to miss a lot of football. Since June 2009, Kaka has only played 33 games for Real Madrid, scoring just nine goals. The midfielder underwent knee surgery in August this year and has only recently returned to training
with the Real side.
Kaka arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2009. The deal was believed to be worth 68.5 million euros. During his time at the club Kaka constantly struggled with a niggling injury to his left knee, due to which the player has found it difficult
to adjust to life at Real Madrid. It remains to be seen whether Kaka can find a regular place in Jose Mourinho’s new-look Real Madrid side.
The Brazilian has become a transfer target for Inter Milan since new manager Leonardo took over. It has been reported that Real Madrid would be unwilling to sell Kaka for anything less than 50 million euros. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan are so desperate to land
the midfielder, that they are willing to throw in Maicon to sweeten the deal. Mourinho is known to be a fan of the Brazilian defender, and could perhaps be enticed by the prospect of bringing Maicon to the Santiago Bernabeu.
On the other hand, Kaka’s agent believes that a move back to Italy is unlikely. He said, “Florentino (Perez) is a bit stubborn and he would not accept losing a bet (on Kaka), it's the same for Maicon and Milito, who will not go to Madrid. (Inter) have a
ruthless competitor called Chelsea. If he were to leave in June, he has a 90 percent chance of going to Chelsea and not Inter.”
The prospect of Kaka playing for an English side is intriguing to say the least. If the Brazilian were to join the English champions, he would provide a great boost to their depleted midfield. What does the future hold for Kaka? Only time will tell.
