Inter Milan: Loaned winger Mauro Zarate keen to stay with the Nerazzurri – Serie A Update
Inter Milan forward Mauro Zarate recently talked about his previous ventures and what he is looking forward to achieve at San Siro. The winger has been acquired on loan from fellow Serie A outfit, SS Lazio, for an undisclosed fee and the player is keen to
impress the Nerazzurri officials in order to make his move permanent at San Siro.
The winger was speaking to Inter Milan’s official channel ahead of the upcoming fixture against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and he discussed his past and future prospects. The winger said:
“I did quite well in my first year at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 but my second season wasn't good, it was a bad year. Then last season, my third, we came within a whisker of achieving our aim of getting into the Champions League. I scored some goals last term but it was quite
a normal year. Now I feel I have matured and I hope this will be a huge season for me.”
The Argentinean footballer also reflected on his move to San Siro and said:
“I'm very happy in Milan, I really like it here. Rome is a beautiful city but it's more chaotic. Milan is calmer, I like it. It's true that there were some English clubs after me but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 are Inter; I had no doubts about where I wanted to be.”
The winning goal scorer against CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League claimed that he is very happy at Inter. The attacker is looking forward to making his move permanent as he wants to achieve big targets.
Zarate now finds himself under the coaching of Claudio Ranieri, his former Rival boss. The winger revealed that he has a very friendly relationship with the tactician and he is looking forward to staying on good terms with the Italian.
The 24-year-old winger went on to praise Ranieri, saying that he wants to win everything, and together they will achieve all they can. Zarate believes that Inter are a great team and they can achieve anything they set their eyes upon.
