Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti believes they are back on winning tracks – Serie A Update
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan President, Massimo Moratti, believes that his team are back on winning ways after the arrival of Claudio Ranieri as the new head coach at San Siro. Inter sacked their previous tactician Gian Piero Gasperini last week after back-to-back failures.
The owner of the club was interviewed outside his office in central Milan this morning and was asked about the output of the team under Ranieri. Pleased with the season’s first victory of Inter against Bologna, Moratti said:
“Yes, of course, the performance went very well. Everything seems to be back to normal. Yes, I think Inter are more rational; more rational in the sense that it is more like their normal way of playing before.”
Furthermore, the President also revealed that the recently sacked coach could have worked things out but the Nerazzurri didn’t have time at hand.
“Gasperini might have been able to find that sort of normality further ahead but it was too much of a risk,” claimed Moratti.
The Nerazzurri President also hailed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giampaolo-Pazzini-c14802 as great players after they contributed one goal each during the last ten minutes of the game. There have been many speculations regarding the future of Milito and Pazzini at Inter,
as many believe they are incompatible with the team.
“We knew they are great players; it's not that they have to keep proving themselves. Milito looks to be in very good shape,” concluded the President.
However, Ranieri is not out of trouble yet as the Inter midfielder is plagued with injuries in the midfield. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dejan-Stankovic-c10793 and Joel Obi are suffering from injuries and they will be missing out on the UEFA Champions League game against
CSKA Moscow.
This would leave Ranieri to play Javier Zanetti, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058
Forlan in the UEFA competition is a huge blow for the Nerazzurri.
