Inter Milan President, Massimo Moratti, has voiced some generous words for city-rivals AC Milan, who are on the verge of winning the Serie A title for the 18th time. He added that whichever team happens to win the Scudetto, would certainly deserved
the triumph.
Inter Milan are currently eight points adrift of the leaders AC Milan and with three games remaining in the campaign, the Rossoneri need just one point to secure the title.
Moratti was all praise for Massimiliano Allegri’s outfit and admitted that they have played much better football this season and thoroughly deserve to win the title.
The 66-year-old president questioned the recent performances of his team who at one point looked good to trouble Milan’s ranks. Inter recently struggled to a 2-1 win over Cesena, after trailing in the match for the whole 90 minutes.
