Inter Milan President, Massimo Moratti, has voiced his opinion regarding coach, Leonardo, saying that the manager has not put a foot wrong since taking over from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rafael-c30339 Benitez and therefore does not deserve to be replaced. He was talking in the wake of
Inter’s win in the final of the Coppa Italia over Palermo and was delighted to see his team winning the third trophy of the season.
He believes that the Nerazzurri have done a fine job this season and also hailed the efforts of manager who took over in the middle of a mini disaster. Moratti thinks that Leonardo did an outstanding http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 to finish second in the League, especially after a
poor start and confirmed that the Brazilian would not be replaced this season.
Further commenting on the former AC Milan manager, the President added, "I'm especially happy for the players and the coach, who can have this satisfaction after putting in all that good work - it wasn't easy to come into a new environment and deal with
all the various controversies.”
The 67-year-old also hinted towards the changes that Inter are going to make this summer. He also confirmed that
some new faces will certainly be a part of Inter’s line-up from next summer and Pastore is highly likely to be one of those.
He ruled out the possibility of Porto boss, Andre Villas-Baos, to take over at San Siro. He repeatedly insisted that Leonardo will stay at Inter no matter what, expressing his delight with the performance of the Brazilian and believed that he will certainly
take the club one step further during the 2011/12 season.
He concluded by saying, "We're working as usual to try and understand which moves are the right ones for us, making sure we don't change too much but at the same time bringing in some fresh blood. That's something you need at certain times, to keep the team
moving forwards. But I haven't spoken to anyone today; I didn't want to bother them."
