Inter Milan boss Leonardo gearing up for critical stage in the season
Inter Milan coach Leonardo believes that the next few matches in the Serie A could possibly decide the destination of the league title. However, he claimed that the match between AC Milan and Napoli at the San Siro on Monday would not be the decisive clash.
Inter Milan are currently in third place in the League standings, with Napoli and AC Milan ahead of them in the race for the Serie A crown. If AC Milan win their home game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 on 28th February, they will go eight points clear of their
city rivals.
However, Leonardo believes that even if AC Milan do win the match, it still does not guarantee that they will go on to win the league. The Brazilian said, “(AC) Milan-Napoli? I do not think that a single game can change the course of this competition, even
if it ends in a draw."
He added, “The next block of games, the next three or four, will be very important because in this period the teams that are really in the running for the title will be determined. However, I think that the league title race will continue until the end,
and we will fight to the last.”

Bayern Munich earlier in the week. Inter lost 1-0 at home to the German giants, putting a huge dent in their chances to progress to the quarter-final stages of the competition.
However, Leonardo believes that his side will cross that bridge when they come to it. The Brazilian is focusing on the match against Sampdoria for now.
Leonardo said, “We come from a defeat to Bayern Munich but we must continue to win. The most important thing is to stay focused on what our goals are and what our goal is in the league - this should never change.”
