The Nerazzurri downed Palermo 3-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Sunday to claim their third silverware of the season. the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Leonardo hoped that the club could carry on with the success next season and make a powerful comeback. He applauded Inter fans for the immense support they had shown throughout the season.
“To finish this season playing in a big event like the Italian Cup final with Palermo's and Inter's wonderful fans in the stadium is the best thing. We have to keep our desire to win with us next season. It was a difficult match, and without lust for success
we could not have done this,” he concluded.
