Inter Milan cannot afford Carlos Tevez, reveals Marco Branca – Serie A Update
Inter Milan have backed out of the race for the acquisition of Manchester City’s talismanic striker, Carlos Tevez. The Italians rejected the option of acquiring the forward and referred the ongoing transfer market as ‘crazy’ as per the number of rumours
connecting them to numerous players.
The Italians have been connected to a move on the Argentinean international but Marco Branca, Inter Sporting Director, has finally rejected the possibility of any such move. While talking to BBC Sport, Branca said:
"Tevez is a great player, a great character, but absolutely no. His salary means it is out of the question. The market is crazy at the moment and it is hard to compete."

It is reckoned to be implemented in the 2012/13 season but the Nerazzurri are keen to make the reforms beforehand.

for younger players now with great talent, who we can develop." He concluded.
