Inter Milan in talks with Guus Hiddink to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 as the new manager: Serie A news
The agent of Turkish national team manager, Guus Hiddink, has revealed that his client will consider the managerial role at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan.
The current Inter Milan manager, Leonardo, is expected to leave the San Siro to join Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint Germain, as their new http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sporting-89-c40576 director.
Hiddink has been heavily linked with a return to Chelsea to replace Carlo Ancelotti as the new manager at Stamford Bridge. However, reports in the media in the past couple of days suggest that the Blues are set to appoint Andre
Villas-Boas as their new manager after he resigned from his post at Porto.
Hiddink managed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Felipe-c13510 Scolari and helped the club to win the FA Cup in 2009. Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, persuaded the former Dutch international to stay with the Blues
but he opted to leave instead. The 64-year-old was appointed the manager of Turkish National team in 2010 and he is working with them to date.
However, the manager’s agent, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen, has revealed that Hiddink will consider a role with the Nerazzurri if they settle it with the Turkish Federation.
Van Nieuwenhuizen told the reporters, "We have never spoken to [Inter president Massimo] Moratti. Hiddink has a contract with the Turkish federation and therefore before any talks can begin, Moratti must contact the [Turkish] federation
and say he is interested in Guus.”
"He is contracted until 2012 so, for the time being, there is no possibility that he can coach Inter. If Inter reached an agreement with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026? Well at that point Hiddink would certainly evaluate the Nerazzurri offer but he is
a professional and he has never broken a contract in his whole career."
It is highly unlikely that the Turkish Federation would let the former Australian manager leave the national team role, as they have still not secured a position for Euro 2012.
Inter are also linked with Fiorentina manager, Sinisa Mihajlovic and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello to take the rein at San Siro.
