The chief executive officer of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan has gone on to reiterate that they will not be looking to look at anyone but themselves when they look for improvement.
Massimo Moratti has overseen many a time at the Nerazzurri outfit, after having seen his team wriggle it out in the mediocrities of the Serie A to becoming the Champions Europe, and then losing their dominance again. This has taught him well, that a good
spell of form need not continue over the remainder of the season. So all the talk regarding Internazionale challenging for the title of the Serie A Champions is not getting to his head, and he has gone on to reassure everyone that they are looking to improve
on themselves and work on their weaknesses.
Probably the harshest lesson that Moratti was dealt with, about a good spell of form not translating into the remainder of the season, was last season, under the tutelage and guidance of Claudio Ranieri. After a disappointing start to their campaign, the
appointment of Claudio Ranieri led to a reversal of their fortunes, as the Nerazzurri club looked to record seven consecutive victories in the Serie A. However, no one could have ever predicted what was going to happen as the Beneamata outfit went on to secure
a solitary win in their next ten matches.
So, when Moratti was quizzed about the possibility of the San Siro outfit fighting it out for the Scudetto by the end of the season, he went on to say that they were concentrating on their own form. Nevertheless, he reminded everyone that the title was one
of their aspirations and also reflected on their performances in the Lega during the past few weeks.
He was talking outside of his offices and remarked:
“Are we Juve's main challengers? We're just focused on ourselves. Saying that, of course we'd love to challenge for the title. We naturally want to perform well and I feel that we're improving with every match we play.”
The Nerazzurri outfit come on the back of a good run of results which has seen them overcome AC Milan and Catania in recent weeks.
