Inter Milan rules out Gareth Bale bid
Inter Milan will not make a bid for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale according to club president Massimo Moratti.
Bale is right in the middle of the media circus at the moment but Moratti says it would be a silly move to try and poach him away from North London. This is because the player has already said he has no
desire to go anywhere and the price is too high.
"Bale? For sure he did well both in Milan
and in London, but I already knew him.
Yes, he did some great things, but we will not go crazy to sign him," said Moratti.
This news will come as a breath of fresh air to any Tottenham fans that may have started to fear they would lose a key player from the club. However, this is not going
to be the last story about a top European club connected to the Spurs star.
A breath of fresh air
This revelation from the Inter president should have a positive effect around the club. Fans and staff can take a breath and lean back because it's clear Bale is not going
to go to any other club any time soon.
Had the Inter boss come out and said that he was going to try and sign the player in January, it would have been a different story. This would have forced the player into
thinking about a possible move to Italy, which would have had an impact on his focus and concentration.
This is a sort of story that Spurs fans will have to get used to because the club has one of the best left sided players in Europe. It's only natural that stories from
all over the continent will appear linking the 21-year-old Welshman with a move away.
Betting advice
Spurs have a very good chance of winning any game if Bale is in the team and playing well. Back the side to retain Champions League football for next season and back them
to do well in any domestic competition.
