Inter Milan secure first victory of the season under Claudio Ranieri – Serie A Update
Inter Milan have returned to winning ways upon the arrival of veteran coach Claudio Ranieri, who led the confidence lacking Nerazzurri squad to Stadio Renato Dall'Ara to play their fourth game of Serie A against Bologna FC. Inter registered a 1-3 victory
against the Rossoblu.
Inter, under the coaching of the previously appointed Gian Piero Gasperini, emerged as a total failure in the 2011/12 season. The team failed to register a single victory in the 5 games Gasperini was the coach. It is reckoned that the former Genoa boss was
imposing his tactics on the players and they lacked the experience to be playing a 3-4-3 formation.
However, after a humiliating 1-3 defeat against the newly promoted Novara, Inter finally decided to sack the coach and Ranieri was given charge of the Nerazzurri squad. Upon his arrival at San Siro, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 back
on the winning track, as the team and the players have a marvellous history.
The new tactician kept his word and Inter finally got their maiden three points defeating Bologna. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-c4710 Diamanti restored
parity in the 66th minute.
The game seemed to be a draw until Inter struck twice in the last 10 minutes of the game, when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucio-c22597 scored for the Italian giants. Inter registered their first victory of the season in great fashion. The men in blue and black jerseys have
a promising future under Ranieri.
Ranieri, recently talking to the media, said that Gasperini and his approach were not wrong and he should be appreciated for his efforts.
“Gasperini wanted to bring his ideas and make them work at all costs, but he didn’t manage to do it. I will try to make this team play as it knows how, with all of its strength. Gasperini didn’t make a mistake and we have to say well done, because he tried
everything to make his ideas work.”
Inter are now looking forward to secure their first win in UEFA Champions League after losing to the debutant Turkish outfit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Trabzonspor-c40759. The Nerazzurri play CSKA Moscow at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow tomorrow night.
