The Italian giants are targeting the young and out of favour Barcelona winger, Ibrahim Afellay, in order to start project ‘build-up’ after a miserable season.
Inter Milan have been trying to recover the loss of Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese mentor left to join the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, last season.
Under the tutelage of the self-proclaimed ‘special one’, Inter Milan were able to win a historical treble. The Italian giants were able to win the Italian Serie A along with the Copa Italia and the UEFA Champions League.
However, since the departure of Jose Mourinho, Inter Milan have tried their luck with different coaches, but they simple can’t find the same form which they once possessed.
After failing to impress this season, Inter Milan are now trying to start a project ‘build up’, where they will have to restart from scratch, in order to build a team which can start winning silverware all over again.
