The Nerazzurri are still keen to lure the Argentine international and are currently devising a strategy to get back in race to sign the former Manchester United star.
Inter Milan sporting director, Marco Branca, has revealed that the Nerazzurri still want to sign Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567’s offer of 25 million Euros for the prolific striker was deemed not good enough by the English outfit.
Branca insisted that he is assessing different possibilities of signing the former Manchester United star, and will come up with an improved offer in the next few days. He has urged Tevez and his representative to wait for the
Nerazzurri offer before talking to other interested parties.
The director was recently talking to RMC Sport where he revealed that the Nerazzurri are still interested in Tevez.
“In any case, I am not optimistic or pessimistic with regards to Tevez. We are still interested and will continue discussing matters with his agent. We are studying how to get back into the hunt for Carlos over the next few days.
We are not running late in this race,” said Branca.
“I believe Carlos and his agent can wait a day or two, seeing as he hasn’t played for Manchester City for several months. It’s not as if the situation will change over the next 48 hours. Besides, the transfer window certainly doesn’t
close tonight or tomorrow,” concluded the Nerazzurri director.
Italian Champions, AC Milan, were initially believed to be the front-runners in race to sign the Argentine international. However, the Rossoneri have pulled the plug on the move after failing to agree terms with the Eastland outfit.
French outfit, Paris Saint-Germain, have now emerged as favourites for the striker’s signature,  as it is believed that they are preparing a 29 million Euros bid.
Inter are keen to get back in the race to acquire the talismanic attacker, and a new offer might be on its way in a couple of days.
Tevez has not played a game since his refusal to come off the bench in a UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich this season.
