Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o praises Jose Mourinho’s blunt approach
Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o has lauded Jose Mourinho’s straight-talking style. Eto’o believes that he shares the same approach as his former boss, claiming that if he has an opinion on something, he comes right out and says it.
Jose Mourinho is famously immodest, but few would argue that he does not deserve all the praise he heaps upon himself. The enigmatic manager is a proven trophy winner. Mourinho made his name with Porto, with whom he won the Champions League crown. The Portuguese
had such a successful time with the club that he was signed by Premier League giants Chelsea after Roman Abramovich’s multimillion pound takeover of the Blues.
Mourinho worked wonders during his time in England, transforming http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 from the new rich kids on the block into one of the biggest clubs in the world. From there, he set his sights on Italy, winning the treble of the Serie A, Coppa Italia and the Champions
League trophies in his first season in charge of Inter Milan. Now the Portuguese manager is working his magic with Spanish giants Real Madrid, but he has left a lasting impression on his former Inter Milan colleagues.
Samuel Eto’o was part of the historic treble winning Inter squad that played under the guidance of Mourinho. The striker has revealed that he has a huge amount of respect for his former boss, especially for his straight-talking ways.
Eto’o said, “Mourinho always tells the truth and says what he believes is right, but it bothers and hurts many people. I do not stay quiet when it is necessary to move forward and I'm proud of the way I am, I've always been looking out for the good of the
group.”
The striker added, “I'd rather have a sincere guy who does not speak behind your back. Jose never hides from those conversations, he is quite mature."
Even though http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan no longer have Mourinho to guide them to glory, they are still doing quite well for themselves this season. Inter are currently in second place in the Serie A standings, five points behind leaders AC Milan.
