Inter Milan’s Leonardo and Javier Zanetti keen to lift the Italian Cup in Rome – Coppa Italia Update
Inter Milan head coach, Leonardo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Araujo-c6435, is keen to lift the Coppa Italia trophy tonight as his side take on US Palermo, who beat AC Milan in the semi-finals of the contest. The two teams will lock horns in front of a sold-out crowd at Stadio Olimpico in
Rome. More than 35,000 Nerazzurri fans are expected attend the game in hope of watching their team lifting the trophy.
At a press conference yesterday, the Serpent’s tactician expressed his vision for a perfect finish of the Italian Cup:
"I just really want to win. Tomorrow will be the last trophy lifted in Europe, which will close the season.”
The tactician believes that in spite of their failure to replicate last season’s form, they are still optimistic for the future and by earning the TIM Cup, they would make up for a bit of the lost glory. The former Brazilian midfielder has come under constant
criticism due to the team’s poor run but the coach believes he will take the team back to winning ways in the upcoming 2011/12 season.
