Inter Milan’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799: Manchester United is a beautiful club
Inter Milan’s Dutch midfielder, Wesley Sneijder has gone on to state that he is more than flattered by the interest shown in him by Manchester United, but is also happy with life at Inter Milan.
However, the player’s comments are rather dubious, since despite professing his liking to Inter, he went on state, “Do I want to go to United? It’s a beautiful club. But I’m fine in Milan and not at the point to think about it.”
The player has been high on Alex Ferguson’s priority list over the last couple of months, and in recent weeks, it was reported that a deal worth 25 million pounds would be enough for Inter to part ways with one of their most prized possessions.
At the moment, Manchester United’s midfield possesses http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Owen-Hargreaves-c28918. However, out of those players, Scholes is set to retire in the near future and the almost-always-injured Hargreaves
is also almost certainly on his way out of the club, due to his injury proneness.
Out of the remaining midfielders, neither one of the players has the ability to fill in the shoes of Scholes, who was the true pass master at the club and that is exactly the reason why Ferguson has been targeting Sneijder.
The midfielder is one of the best passers of the ball in the modern game and his ambidexterity just helps make him even more lethal then he already is. The player is a set-piece specialist and can also take the occasional pop at goal.
Sneijder joined Inter at the start of the 2009 season and since then has gone on to make 76 appearances for the team, scoring 15 goals. However, two of the player’s biggest achievements include helping Inter win the treble last season and helping http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753
reach the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2010 – during which Sneijder was also the joint top scorer.
Looking at the player’s achievements and his stats, it is easy to see why he would be a perfect fit for any team. However, the midfield magician seems to be hand crafted for the style of play at Old Trafford. The player has the keen eye to make the pass
that is required, rather than go over the top to play a Hollywood ball. He likes to constantly play passes back and forth to control the tempo of the game, while creating more chances for his team to score than people can count.
Whether Sneijder is to join United will now be decided in the coming weeks, however, according to most experts, we should already start preparing our minds to see the Dutchman wearing a red strip from next season.
