Inter Milan’s striker and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 and represent Benfica. Suazo spent a loan period at Benfica from 2008-09
and in that time, the striker managed to score five goals from sixteen appearances in all competitions.
The striker was all praise for the Portuguese club and claimed that he has some unforgettable memories with them and would like to go back and finish his career with them. The 31-year-old has been part of Inter’s set-up since 2007 but went out of favour
with his manager and was loaned out to Benfica and then Genoa.
The striker also admitted that the Nerazzurri would not want him in their ranks come the end of the season, so it’s a lot better to make a move somewhere, where you are given more respect.
"I will not be renewing my contact with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567," the striker told a Honduran newspaper. "I don't even think Inter will contact me over it [renewing the contract].” He further added that, "I intend to return to Benfica where I was welcomed with open arms.
I am indebted to them."
Since Suazo joined the club, he has appeared thirty-six times for Inter, in which the striker has eight goals. He claimed that his chance at Inter is more or less over after the club already has some top names and it would be very difficult to replace them.
Suazo confirmed that his contract is nearing to an end and as soon as it does, he will just pack his bags and join Benfica.
As a Honduras international, Suazo has scored sixteen goals from fifty-two appearances after making his debut in 1999. The has one hundred and twenty one goals while playing for different clubs from a total of three hundred and thirty nine appearances in
all competitions.
It is apparent that the striker is just waiting for the season to come to an end which will also bring an end to his Inter contract. Let’s see what the future holds for the talented footballer.
