yep, writing the names on the post-it takes too long to do and buggers everyone up. why not use sticker print=outs of the players names, then all they have to do is put a sticker of name on post-it and hand it over. that surely has to make it alot quicker. might help to have payed help as well. money will make the stewards more on the ball. who cares when u not getting paid. need to be a proffesional job now just like the rest of the game.

Yes I agree.. But given Swans werent the 1st to break the rules and they sure as h**l didnt bring the new rules about, I wish everyone would cut em a break.. they get shifted with the new rules too..

They change & add new rules to Aussie Rules every year - so why not do it again, now?

Yea it's just stupid. The AFL didn't have to change the rule, because it was fine like it was before. A team having 17 players on the field for a minute or so can be a HUGE advantage.!

yep you got that right. why the h**l did they just spring that on the clubs. poor collingwood had such a hard time on friday night trying to comprehend what the AFL was talking about with the interchange rule. i think they should change it back to the way it was and forget about the new rule. i do not blame sydney for this thou, they probably feel bad as it is.

Mate all im waiting for is the AFL to employ the key stone cops to run the intercahnge bench then it would at least make sense. so much for the AFL NEVER changing a rule mid season.

Yeah it's a huge joke.

Next the runner will be holding a sign above his head displaying the number of the player he wants off the ground.
